After you use the course for a couple of months, and become quite confident with the langauge, then after that start speaking with fluent Spanish speakers to hone your skills and improve your knowledge naturally. However, and this is especially true with Rocket Spanish, you can actually end up enjoying your learning by using many different types of media and by interacting more with the course. If you can't afford it, another option would be going to a community college. They have spanish courses and you may also be able to get into a fast track, if available.
